G3 Label continues to look for alternative materials that will satisfy the environmental challenge today while remaining cost competitive to the brand.

We pride ourselves on reducing waste in all aspects of manufacturing. The following initiatives are how we protect and nurture our environment:

Carbon Footprint Reduction

When shipping long distances, we utilize lightweight packaging and bulk shipping methods. Bulk packaging of roll labels reduces required warehouse storage space by 60% while eliminating individual-boxed label rolls.

Waste Reduction

• 57% of total waste is recycled.
• Reduced volatile organic compound (VOC) output by 50% by using more environmentally friendly press wash-up sink solvents and use of very low VOC plant-based inks.
• Paperless production management system, including paperless quoting, ordering, artwork upload and management, inventory management, automatic re-ordering of raw materials, and scheduling throughout the label manufacturing process.

Lean Operations

Our skilled Process Improvement representatives conduct Kaizen events on a regular basis at both G3 Closure and Label divisions. The goal of these events is to reduce “muda” or wastes.
